What the app does with your data
WMYCB runs on your iPad. Paintings, color settings and recorded videos stay on your device (in the app’s folder, visible in the Files app). There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking, and the app contains no third-party tracking software.
Painting together nearby
If you start or join a shared canvas on the local network, the devices talk directly to each other. Your iPad asks for permission to access the local network for this. Brush strokes are sent only to the devices in your session.
Painting together online
If you start or join an online session, the app connects over an encrypted connection (wss) to a relay server that forwards the brush strokes and the session code between the devices in the session. The relay runs on Cloudflare Workers (Cloudflare, Inc., USA). It keeps no copy of your painting after the session; it only holds the connection state while a session is open. Like any internet service, Cloudflare processes technical connection data such as IP addresses, as described in Cloudflare’s privacy policy. The server address is shown in the app and can be changed. You only share a painting with people who know the session code.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in operating the connection between the devices). Data is processed only for as long as a session is open, apart from technical logs kept by Cloudflare.
Your choices
You can paint without any network connection. You can delete your recordings in the Files app.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing and objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in Bavaria: Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht, Ansbach). Contact: post@oleksiykoval.de

Was die App mit deinen Daten macht
WMYCB läuft auf deinem iPad. Bilder, Farbeinstellungen und aufgenommene Videos bleiben auf deinem Gerät (im Ordner der App, sichtbar in der Dateien-App). Es gibt keine Konten, keine Analyse, keine Werbung und kein Tracking; die App enthält keine Software von Drittanbietern zur Nutzerverfolgung.
Gemeinsam malen in der Nähe
Wenn du im lokalen Netz eine gemeinsame Fläche startest oder ihr beitrittst, sprechen die Geräte direkt miteinander. Dein iPad fragt dafür nach der Erlaubnis für das lokale Netzwerk. Pinselstriche gehen nur an die Geräte deiner Sitzung.
Gemeinsam malen online
Wenn du eine Online-Sitzung startest oder ihr beitrittst, verbindet sich die App verschlüsselt (wss) mit einem Weiterleitungsserver, der die Pinselstriche und den Sitzungscode zwischen den Geräten der Sitzung weitergibt. Der Server läuft bei Cloudflare Workers (Cloudflare, Inc., USA). Er behält nach der Sitzung keine Kopie deines Bildes; er hält nur den Verbindungszustand, solange eine Sitzung offen ist. Wie jeder Internetdienst verarbeitet Cloudflare technische Verbindungsdaten wie IP-Adressen nach seiner eigenen Datenschutzerklärung. Die Serveradresse ist in der App sichtbar und kann geändert werden. Ein Bild teilst du nur mit Personen, die den Sitzungscode kennen.
Rechtsgrundlage: Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO (berechtigtes Interesse am Betrieb der Verbindung zwischen den Geräten). Daten werden nur verarbeitet, solange eine Sitzung offen ist, abgesehen von technischen Protokollen bei Cloudflare.

Du kannst ganz ohne Netzwerk malen. Aufnahmen löschst du in der Dateien-App.
Deine Rechte
Nach der DSGVO hast du das Recht auf Auskunft, Berichtigung, Löschung, Einschränkung der Verarbeitung und Widerspruch sowie das Recht auf Beschwerde bei einer Aufsichtsbehörde (in Bayern: Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht, Ansbach). Kontakt: post@oleksiykoval.de
